Life and it's challenges
18/Jul/08 20:47
As usual, I am just hopeless at keeping a regular
'blog' type of thing, so hopefully these periodic
updates will suffice.
Life has been pretty challenging of late and has presented a lot of personal difficulties. Sometimes you think they will never end, and well, maybe they never will, as long as your alive at least! I came across a quote from Winston Churchill the other day that I thought was pretty apt:
"Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm."
A good thought really and also a very necessary truth for so many of us. In light of this, I thought I would 'rename' the print entitled "Maggie in a Nightmare" to "It can't rain forever." For some reason, it seems to capture a 'little' bit more of that sense of hope in tough times- so if you received a print with the original title, it is now a 'collector's item' and very rare : ). I do have one left with this title, so let me know if anyone would like it. It is fully framed as well, so it would help if you were local or able to pick it up in Calgary or Cochrane, Ab.
Anyway, that's it for now! Look for some photos of my mountain hikes in the next few weeks, too!
